SheShe by H. Rider Haggard

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Adventurous book. Although main story progress a little slow. Most part of the book is about explaining things which the Horace Holly saw, things which are fascinating unbelievable and about mysterious queen Ayesha. The book has got literary merits mostly due to love, Ayesha and feminism philosophy. Haggard has explained beauty and fantasy things so elegantly as we see in the works of great fantasy writer like Rolling, Tolkien, Lewis. But there are things which I don’t like e.g. it is overly ornamented and has long detailed description of culture, caves structure beauty, it’s high drama.
