SphereSphere by Michael Crichton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Strong nice concept of space and time travel. The book starts with a good lecture upon deep underwater living oxygen is poisonous at high pressure so high concentration of helium is required in breathing air. 4 experts in their fields along with army man goes deep inside pacific ocean to solve the mystery of a space ship which is about 300 years old while space travel is just 50 years old. Real fun starts when they are able to enter the ship and it starts communicating. Then bad things start occurring which causes death of many crew members. Crichton is one of the best sci-fi writer with Jurassic park, Lost world and Sphere. Haven’t read Andromeda strain yet.
